March 2023: Cactus and Craft Paper

Somehow we’re entering the third month of the year. I’m not sure where the time is going, but its slipping away faster than anticipated.

February was busy, not as busy as January but definitely still kept me on my toes. The last week in particular floored me and I only just got my journal ready for the month in time. I’m excited; about the new month, this new theme and the fact that my bullet journal and I seem to have fallen into a symbiotic relationship this year. A rhythm that I haven’t had with a journal in quite some time now; it’s like discovering a long lost friend and I love it.

My theme for March is cactuses and craft paper. Inspired by some packaging I received earlier in the month and my love for alliteration. The green really makes the pages sing and I feel excited looking at it with that strong promise of spring time.

The Spreads

I’ve kept my usual list of spreads:

  • Monthly cover page
  • Monthly calendar
  • Monthly check in – a place to check in physically, emotionally and spiritually
  • Currently – all my current favourites in aspects of my life
  • Spending tracker
  • Trackers for habits, movement, sleep, water and mood
  • Daily journal – two lines a day to write about the happenings of the day
  • Gratitude spread – a place to graffiti my gratefulness for the day
  • Weekly setup and food log

These spreads have served me well over the last two months and so far I don’t feel any need to make any major changes.

Final Thoughts

I’m mentally ready to welcome this new month. It’s going to be an exciting one and I can’t wait to see what it brings!

Are you ready to take on the new month? How are you planning for life this year? Let me know ❤️
