Hello! I’m Nargis, fondly known as Fatima. I am mom to three amazing tiny humans; a nine year old girl, a four year old boy, and a baby girl who arrived in our world in November 2019. Born in Sharjah, UAE, I moved to Karachi, Pakistan in 2009 when I got married, and happily call it home. I have a BA (Hon) in Communication and Media Studies and that is where my innate passion for writing stems from. The throws of motherhood left me in a place where I was unable to pursue this dream and had to set it aside temporarily.
In August 2018, I began my Instagram blog as a way to find my voice beyond my place as a mom, and to connect with like minded empowered women. My what a journey it has been; one filled with thrills and excitement, and experiences I had never anticipated. This blog is a manner to further my step into this life of content creation, and see what more I can accomplish. Here you will find me sharing my thoughts and musings about life and motherhood. I also bring you tips and tricks on how to make this mom game just a little bit easier.
Additionally, I am an extremely passionate home cook. Cooking has always been a meditative process for me, and I can not imagine life without me in the kitchen. I love trying out new recipes, and frequently make traditional Pakistani foods as part of our daily dining. I often share recipes on the blog, and step by step cooking experiences on my Instagram page.
Planning and organization are another vital aspect of my being. I am an avid bullet journaler, and live my life dependent on my pen and diary. A bit odd in this modern age, but there is something so romantic about keeping it old school. You will often find me sharing home organizational tips, and presenting systems that allow a more streamlined living in the middle of all the chaos that comes with children.
